Learning to design

As a Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, I delivered a range of design modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Topics included product development and design processes, conceptual design, user centred design, design form and aesthetics, and emotional design.

I have also supervised a wide variety of student design projects, often working in collaboration with industry to address real world challenges.

As a consultant I continue to teach design at university level, most recently delivering foundational product design principles and processes to operations management students at Strathclyde in partnership with Defankle Innovation.
